"Inside" in Pre-Production for Feature Film

INSIDE in pre-production for feature film. When my novel, INSIDE, was released there were six offers to option the book for a film. Maybe I was stupid, but I decided to turn them all down. I wanted to direct the film myself. At the time, I simply did not have the credits required to direct. So, I held on to the rights. I have the credits now, and I am happy to say that I will be directing. INSIDE is the book that I care most about. It had me in tears when I was writing it. The tears would pour down my face. The book wrote itself. I simply typed. I was a bystander. An onlooker. It was completed in two weeks.

"It Was Sunny The Day I Killed Her" Nominated for Golden Firebird Award

"It Was Sunny The Day I Killed Her" has been nominated for the "Golden Firebird Award" at the 2015 Hong Kong International Film Festival. The award honours the best international emerging filmmaker. Twenty films were nominated out of 280 screening festival titles from 50 countries. With appreciation to the Hong Kong Film Society, organizers of the festival.

Best Canadian Feature Film Award - Nomination

"I Heard the Birch Tree Whisper in the Night [Gerald Squires on Creation and Death]" has been nominated for Best Canadian Feature Film at the Regina International Film Festival. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on August 19th. Congratulations to all involved.
